What has been announced?
In September 2026, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced a package of measures concerning Government employees and pensioners.

Additional Pension for Older Pensioners
The Government has announced restoration of additional pension benefits for older pensioners from January 2027.

Surrender Leave and Employee Health Scheme

Reports stated that the surrendered leave amount relating to 2022 would be addressed around the Sankranti period, while monthly payments to the NTR Vaidya Seva Trust were also planned to support the Employees' Health Scheme.
