The Assam Government revised the pay structure of eligible State Government employees through the Assam Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017.

The rules are deemed to have come into force from 1 April 2016.

The Assam Finance Department's official Office Memorandum listing includes an Executive Order for enhanced Dearness Allowance at 58% with effect from 1 July 2025.
